Pens v. Habs Game 4 Preview

In an unexpected turn of events, most news before Game 4 has been about whether or not Jordan Staal may actually suit up. Staal returned to a full practice yesterday. Staal, maybe with one of the quotes of the year stated;

"Obviously, it was a freak accident, and went on the bench, looked down, wasn't looking good, so I went to the room and took the skate off, knew that it wasn't just a cut, went obviously straight to the hospital right after, had a little surgery, went home and had a good sleep."

Just another day at the office, I suppose.

The Pens look to take a 3-1 series lead in Montreal tonight, setting up a possible series clincher at home (a rarity, I know). Staal will most likely be out, and Bill Guerin is considered to be a game-time decision. Mark Letestu filled in admirably for Staal in Game 3, and will likely be in the same position tonight. Montreal will again be without Andrei Markov and likely Jaroslav Spacek.

A local Montreal establishment continues to have a Sidney Crosby jersey rolled out on a red carpet for all passer-bys to step on, spit on, etc. In a few days time, most Habs fans will likely be using it to dry their tears.

^ No idea what is going on in this picture.

Prediction: Pens 5 - Habs 4

Pens likely go up early and carry a two or three goal lead into the third. Montreal steps on the gas in the third and puts a few by MAF to make us sweat. Crosby has his defining game of the series (trust me, it's coming) with 2 goals and an assist. Montreal by far and away puts up their best shot output of the series.

How bout we bring it back to Pittsburgh for the win? Go Pens.
